Privacy policy

How the public Kubling website handles request data and external services.

This policy applies to the public website at kubling.com. It does not cover the Kubling product, customer deployments or third-party services reached through external links.

Marketing and analytics

Kubling uses limited first-party analytics to understand which public content helps people evaluate the product. We measure page and document access, reading engagement, navigation between Kubling pages, links opened to documentation, GitHub and contact channels, campaign codes present in a URL, and aggregate web performance.

The analytics record may include the requested path, timestamp, country, continent and region codes supplied by Cloudflare, broad device and browser categories, and the interaction described above. It does not include city, postcode, coordinates or arbitrary URL query strings.

To understand whether a visit progresses from a page or article to documentation or contact, the server uses the Cloudflare visitor IP and user-agent transiently to create a keyed pseudonymous identifier. The raw values are not written to the analytics store, the identifier changes every UTC day, and it is not used to recognize a visitor across days. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.

Infrastructure logs

Our hosting and delivery infrastructure may process standard request information such as IP address, user agent, requested path and timestamp to deliver the site, maintain reliability and prevent abuse. We do not use those operational logs to identify visitors or measure marketing journeys.

Campaign-only resources

A document distributed through a specific campaign may have a separate notice describing additional access measurement. That processing applies only when the campaign disclosure says so; those resources are not linked from the navigable website.

Cookies and browser storage

These analytics do not use cookies or browser storage. Kubling does not use advertising pixels, retargeting cookies, cross-site tracking or client-side fingerprinting. See the cookie policyfor the concise version.

Retention

Website analytics events are retained for up to 400 days so that we can compare content and campaigns over time. Aggregated business measures may be kept for longer when they no longer describe an individual request.

External links

The website links to Kubling documentation, GitHub, LinkedIn and other third-party services. Those services apply their own privacy policies when you visit them.
